Interesting lessons can be learnt from how Chinese workspace providers dealt with the implications of the coronavirus. Josh Zang from Ucommune, one of the biggest workspace providers in China, shares what actions they have taken.
Now that spaces start to open back up, they strictly revised their processes. Offices are desinfected every two hours and disposable masks are provided. New members must always wear face masks and the body temperature is taken twice.
Additionally, new platforms were built to check in with space members who are working from home and to ask what kind of support they need. This is a great example of comunity support. Ucommune also supported smaller spaces by bringing awareness to their financial situation. The government reacted by offering tax and rent reliefs.
